Formed in a trashy basement below an electronics store in Denver Colorado, Misunderstood is a pants-dropping power punk band. Fed on a strict diet of ramen and PBR, Misunderstood aims to please, surrounded in a world of 7-string guitarsbands and boy bands. A four piece, Misunderstood has been playing the local scene in Colorado since 1998 and has gigged with such acts as The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Ataris, All,
Homegrown, No Motive, The Mad Caddies, The Groovy Goulies, The Weakerthans, and even Fearand the Phunk Junkeez. Recently released was their second studio album "All Bets Are Off" This led to current top 10 placement on MP3.com's Colorado Punk listings, a "featured artist" spot on Loudenergy.com and 2 songs on Airwalk's new 2001 skate video. Currently, Misunderstood is working on new material for a free "web" album (totally free through websites via mp3)and are looking for west coast bands for a tour in mid-summer and label support.
