mike carta played in alot of bands.he majored in music @ loyola , new orleans,in the fall of 72 where he had his own band ars nova , that played regularly @ lou and charlys' , on rampart.
these songs are a compilation of his many talents.
Mike, also played first chair in the NEW ORLEANS SAINTS BAND.
Ars Nova , also played at the new orleans jazz festival where Mike jajammed on stage with DIZZY GILESPIE.
