Michelle began playing guitar at the age of seven amidst the national upheaval of the Vietnam war and personal trials of living amongst five younger brothers. Most of her music reflects the influences of folk traditions of late 60's, combined with layers of successive musical influences from singer-songwriters like Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, and Sarah McLachlan, to cutting edge, genre-blowing music developers like Trent Reznor and Danny Elfman. Never one to be genre-bound, Michelle's ever-evolving style spans genres from simple folk rock to numbing industrial-symphonic horror-movie soundtrack material. She's currently refining and re-recording much of her music in preparation for electronic distribution via internet.
