Michael Ryon is mainly a guitarist/composer who dabbles in bass/keyboards/programming and can sing. Born in Hollywood, raised in the South Bay, Michael has been in involved in numerous bands that have played the LA/OC circuits for the last 8 years. Currently Michael has struck out on his own. His current EP under the band name of 'No Such Luck' contains 5 songs that mix Rock/punk/eclectic/ to form moods that range from hard to atmospheric to mellow to chaos. The songs 'Still Life', 'Ghost' & 'Psychotherapy' feature Axel Clarke on drums and percussion while all guitars/vocals/keyboards and extra percussion programming are handled by Michael Ryon. Same goes for the production and engineering. Influences range from The Pixies (and Frank Black solo as well), Radiohead, Tool, Sparklehorse & NIN.
I am multifaceted and would be interested in producing albums as well. One of the compliments I keep getting on the EP is the production, especially since it was made in my bedroom on a Mac G4.
