Singer/songwriter Michael Landgarten has been performing and recording his bluesy, rootsy and sometimes country material since 1993. Different Girl is the latest release which rocks with the same authenticity as the earlier "Sooner or Later" from 2002. His music has received national notice by the alt-country community, and songs from these CDs and the Zeftrons’ classic debut CD have been featured on many major TV shows, like Ed, The Real World, Showtime movies and a slew of daytime dramas.

From 1996 to 1998 the Maine based Landgarten fronted and penned songs for the rock band The Zeftrons. Their self-titled CD was enthusiastically received.
