Michael Johnathon is a folksinger/songwriter, a concert performer, storyteller and author with a weekly, international audience of over 1,000,000 people. Michael's WoodSongs Old-Time Radio Hour, featuring grassroots and independent artists from all over the world, can now be heard on over 460 radio stations internationally in more than 32 countries. WoodSongs also has the distinction of being the world's first multi-camera, weekly series webcast live and will be a new series on public television in the spring.
Despite the success of WoodSongs, Michael's first love is performing. He is touring to introduce his latest CD Evening Song which features a host of well-known bluegrass musicians including Rob Ickes, J.D. Crowe, J. P. Pennington, Daniel Carwile, and Andy Leftwich as well as the Folkboy Orchestra from WoodSongs.
