Michael Gooden is a post-rock worship band out of Denton, TX. With the insightful lyrics and inquisitive melodies, you will find yourself more than just bobbing your head to the sounds, but singing along in a contagious meter and finding nothing better to do than worshipping your Creator.

With musical influences such as Copeland, Death Cab for Cutie, Explosions in the Sky, Chris Carrabba, and a host of other independent artists, this 4-piece attempts to restructure past and present approaches to worship music through exposing their foundations of faith in innovative form. Other members of the band include Jon Cook, Trevor Wright, and Matt Wilson, who succeed in capturing the style at its core, producing a sound that is fundamentally distinguished and effortlessly recognized.
