Men of Praise is a unique group of Christian men dedicated to singing praises to the Lord. By seeking to keep God first in every endeavor, each member is moved to uplift the body of Christ through the gift of song. Influenced by traditional gospel music, Negro Spirituals and the complex discipline of acappella group singing, the group fuses jazz, blues and down-home gospel to spread the message of Christ and entertain audiences. Instead of using instruments while performing, this a cappella group uses their individual vocal gifts to spread a positive message.

Men of Praise

Men of Praise began approximately eight years ago. They were asked to assemble a male ensemble as part of an annual Black History program at the Greenbriar church of Christ, now known as Camp Creek church of Christ in Atlanta, Georgia. What began as an individual performance blossomed into a carefully crafted tradition. Everyone looked at the performance as a one-time endeavor, however, God had a completely different destiny in mind. Years later, MOP is still going strong. . .with no end in sight!

Each member of MOP is a Christian man, who has dedicated his life to the service of God. This simple, yet all important fact is what drives them. Through prayer and faith, the synergy known as MOP will be pleasing and acceptable in His sight. For each group member, that is all that truly matters.
