Mark Mercer is one of New York City’s most exciting new male singer/songwriters. With musical influences that include George Michael, Annie Lennox, Sade & Savage Garden, Mark Mercer updates the swirling rhythms of 80s pop & 70’s dance music to a sound that is familiar yet unique.
Following in the tradition of music greats including Melissa Etheridge, John Mayer, and Quincy Jones, Mark’s talent and ambition led him to the prestigious Berklee College of Music, where he completed his degree.
After graduation, Mark settled in NYC, working behind the scenes at Warner Music Group’s Elektra Records by day and performing his music by night at NYC hotspots. Mark has opened for Belinda Carlisle and The GoGos & danced with Christina Aguilera at her concert in Denver. Mark’s performance for NBC's Fame garnered mentions in TV Guide and The Today Show, where Debbie Allen described his performance as “delightful.”
