Young original band with influences from Kansas to Smashing Pumpkins consisting of 4 members, 3 are under 18 years of age. Lyrakiss has a talent for writing and performing original music. Each one of their original songs could easily take this band to places that all bands wish to go! Lyrakiss has advanced past a "Battle of the Bands" on through a "Battle of the Champions" giving them the opportunity to perform and compete at a future "Clash of the Titans". They have performed at many local venues, including the "Texas Event" at Billy Bob's.

The members of Lyrakiss are: David Roper on Lead Guitar and Vocals, Spencer King on Guitars and back up vocals, Sean Morris on Drums and Sparky on Bass and back up vocals.

With an ability to perform great "Cover" tunes and a special talent for writing and performing new material, Lyrakiss could well be the next "Lil' O Band From Texas"!

Bio

Lyrakiss began in 2002 with founding members David Roper just one year out of high school along with Grant Brammer a senior to be in High School, as well as Spencer King and Sean Morris both Sophomores to be in High School. Lyrakiss has performed at several local venues in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area including a performance at Billy Bob's for the "Texas Event". The original music being written by Lyrakiss is incredibly new and fresh and each and every song is so fantastic that any one song could take this band to places all bands strive to go to. In the fall of 2003, bass player and founding member Grant Brammer left to attend Texas A&M and was replaced by Sparky. The band continues to write new material and play local venues with 2004-2005 being a breakout time period for them.
