Teray Jones

ts my dream to share my life lessons through music. I believe that every story, good, bad or ugly can be best told through music. Music makes even the hardest pain easier to bear

A star destined to shine Teray Jones was born January 11, 1986 in Compton California. Teray Jones began his musical journey at four years of age.

This gifted young man was known for always entertaining his family and friends with his impressive vocal ability. As the second eldest of five siblings Teray was constantly exposed to classic soul music played by his mother and other family members. As Teray grew he was encouraged by his family to use and further develop his God given talent. His love of music would continue to grow and manifest from deep within his soul.

By the age of eight, Terays mother began to enter him in local talent shows where he received standing ovations and rave responses for his performances. At age ten Teray began his recording experience with T.C. Entertainment and completed his song. In 1997 at the age of 11, Teray performed in his first music video as Lazybones produced by Sean P-Diddy Combs with the group 112. Later Teray was introduced to a management team who created and inserted him into adolescent R&B group Brat Pac. During that time Teray worked with professional choreographers who further enhanced his innate performing talents. However after a year of various shows/performances including opening for The Steve Harvey Show the group disbanded.

Without missing a beat Teray began to explore acting and modeling. Although he immensely enjoyed this area of show business and was successful, Teray longed to get back into the music industry, which was his true love. Teray completely returned to the music scene at the age of 15 then wrote and recorded I just Want To Love You with that song Teray Jones had arrived. With continuous studio work and live performances L.J. had created a buzz in the city. L.J. is a naturally talented writer/composer and with his deftly written memorable melodies, smooth & soothing lyrics and vocals L.J. certainly rekindled the spirit of many late and great R&B artists before him. According to the quote with age comes experience and therefore youth is wasted on the young however, not in Teray's case he has passionately embraced the timeless magic the soulful stars before him exuded so that he too can share his life lessons through music for today, tomorrow and forever lasting.
