I have been singing since the age of two. At aged eleven, I entered local singing festivals and school talent shows. As I got older, I aspired to be a singer. I sang at my school talent shows, karaoke places and anywhere locally I could get my hands on. None of them were competitions, but showcases. I entered the Wayne County Fair Talent Search 2007. They announced my name for second place. I needed that one-hundred dollars really badly because my family does not have a lot of money, so winning that trophy and money would help pay for my demo CD. On February 17, I entered Rising Star Talent Competition in the singing category. I sang "Somewhere Over The Rainbow". I was announced that I won first place. I won a first place trophy indicating that I qualify for Nationals, which is in July in New York. I have won 2nd place at the Hamburg Family Fun Fest Talent Search 2008, and 2nd place at Strawberry Idol. I also performed at Dewitt Idol, Blissfield Idol, and the Michigan State Fair.
