What do four friends draw on for inspiration after years of making music in separate
projects and then coming together for the pure passion of friendship and songwriting?
“By writing songs that touch our hearts” was the answer for Rick Farrell, JP,
Eric Bonatti and Mario Stamegna of littleSUNDAY. Day Of Hollow is brimming with the
vibrant dynamics the group possesses, but with an underlying urgency of four talented
musicians discovering the inspirational drive that brought them together in the first place.

littleSUNDAY has consistently explored their songs during rehearsal and on stage and now,
with this recording, it is taking their material to a higher level. The band wanted to bring a
raw energy to the studio but then began to hone the music, to polish off the rough edges,
while still maintaining the original feel of the song.

Re-constructing songs in the studio, was not their first intention, but things gradually evolved
as the mastery of producer Dom Polito started to show them the possibilities. Like kids in a
candy factory, the four musicians and friends began to modify the palette until the colors
were just right and “The results are quite rewarding” says lead vocalist Rick Farrell.
“We’re experimented with sounds, especially guitar sounds” says lead guitarist JP
“that we never would have tried to achieve by just playing live. Now we have something
amazing to show.”
