LINCOLN CONSPIRACY, the Boston indie-pop trio, is a truly one-of-a-kind band. “Insanely catchy piano-based pop” writes the Boston Globe, about their songs that mix new-wave sounds, 70’s rock, harmony-filled pop and singer-songwriter compositions into mini-epics. Witty and sincere, hard-edged and melodic, they blend upbeat rock and roll with relaxed pop to be your favorite band on a Saturday night AND Sunday morning.

They return with the self-produced, “John” EP, a collection of four new hook-filled pop-rockers. Since the release of their 2003 cd, “details are everything”, L.C. have been busier than ever. They have played 100+ shows at clubs and schools in New England and did a full east-coast tour from Maine to Florida. In his spare time drummer/singer Steve Lourie played on the internationally acclaimed, self-titled debut of The Bravery (Island/Def Jam). Songs from “details are everything” received airplay and live in-studio performances at WBCN, WMFO, WBRS and WERS,

"Sounds like a Conspiracy"
Fans of bright and breezy pop music might want to make their way to Cambridge's Central Square tonight to hear Boston's Lincoln Conspiracy, with its piano-centered sounds. Who can resist a song that begins, "Could have really been someone/Could have been a contender/But I lost my train of thought/And you lost your temper" and whose bouncy song "Happy Anniversary" is, underneath it all, a really bitter affair?

LINCOLN CONSPIRACY, the Boston based piano-power-pop trio, is a truly one-of-a-kind band. “Insanely catchy piano-based pop” writes the Boston Globe, about their songs that mix new-wave sounds, 70’s rock, harmony-filled pop and singer-songwriter compositions into mini-epics. After two years the band returns with the self-produced, “John”-- the first of two EP’s the band will release this year--a collection of four new hook-filled pop-rockers. Since the release of their 2003 full-length cd, “details are everything”, LINCOLN CONSPIRACY and its members have been busier than ever. They have played 100+ shows at clubs and schools in New England and did a full east-coast tour from Maine to Florida. In their spare time drummer/singer Steve Lourie played on the internationally acclaimed, self-titled debut of The Bravery (Island/Def Jam) and Ethan Kreitzer’s keyboards can be heard all over Boston clubs, sitting-in with such acts as Baby Strange, Will Dailey and The Rudds. In 2004 Steve Ordonez was added as their new bassist adding layers of rock and soul to their songs.

Songs from “details are everything” received lots of local and college airplay and live in-studio performances at WBCN, WMFO, WBRS and WERS,
