Bio
Libra1 formed late 2000 by vocalist/engineer Timothy Bayless & guitarist/keyboardist/programmer Christian Cook. Libra1, who hail from Arkansas, consider themselves light-years beyond the competition both locally and nationally. Although Libra1 do not have massive resources at their fingertips, the band make their musical creations with the little they have, sounding like they have a mint. Bayless & Cook plan to one day break out of their culturally disadvantaged state to take over the music industry with their brand of darkwave-industrial music. Although the duo site many influences for their music, they sound like none of them. Their debut self-released CD "The Inner Santum" has recieved excellent reviews in zines such as Starvox.net, who claim that Libra1 are "...possibly the best darkwave band ever...", and Puncture Quarterly, who pretty much say the same thing. Libra1 also plan to do theme, incidental, & music scoring for film & television in the near future. They are currently working on a short film titled "Neckula", for which they have written, and are scoring for. Libra1 are currently in the top 5 slots on the Mp3.com Arkansas alternative charts, as well, with their songs "In Dark Dreams" & "The World Revolves Around You". No matter what, however, Libra1 plan to be the dark future of music.
