Larry Hiatt

Larry Hiatt

For as long as I remember music has been a large part of my life.   My Dad, Alfred Curtis Hiatt, was a top pianist and musician and I really got my start with him.  Into my teen years I kind of drifted away from music and followed a career in sports.   Now retired at age 70 I decided to try writing some songs.  I am so blessed to be working with artists like Frank Michels, David Ward, Debra Gordon and Mason Douglas all in Nashville.
I continue to live in Warman, Saskatchewan Canada and do my writing from there.  I started with the song The Smell Of Bacon Frying which is still my grand childrens favourite.  Since then I have been blessed to write and record some songs such as
It's Not Merry Everywhere
Tune Your Heart
You Call It Happy Holidays
This Is Our Wedding Day
Hey Putin - A Song For Ukraine
You Can't Write A Song
The Greatest Generation
Troubled Waters
My Child's Prayer
Earth Has No Sorrow
