Laine was born and raised on Vancouver's North Shore.
Laine's songwriting is poetic, full of clever lyrics and consuming imagery. Her stories are brought to life with toe tapping grooves, addictive melodies and seductive harmonies, inspired by jazz, soul, folk and funk.
Her latest album, Occasional Rain is bright, quirky and feel-good and very, very catchy. She performs regularly around the Lower Mainland and is eager for the world to hear her new CD.
