Having been said to have a “voice of an angel”, this singer/Songwriter Kristina Erickson has never let anything stand in her way of reaching her goals. This Seattle native’s lyrics are a reflection of life and speak to the heart. Her original music style, similar to a cross between Jewel, Dave Matthews and Sarah McLachlan, has an appeal to wide demographics and is one of Seattle’s most promising emerging artists.

Kristina has partnered with Stephen Cavit and Tom McGurk whose work has been featured on MTV, HBO, BILL NYE THE SCIENCE GUY and on shows such as CHUCK & BUCK and THE GOOD GIRL and more. Most recently they’ve played at the Triple Door and during the “Field of Lights” celebration at Safeco Field with Chris DeGarmo on guitar, Nancy Wharton on Cello and Lyn McManus on backing vocals.

Last December Kristina was selected for the new CHRISTMAS IN THE NORTHWEST CD which features prominent local artists such as Grammy winners Tingstad & Rumble.

Classically trained and performing since age seven, Kristina has always risen to the top. Kristina’s music background is strong. As a young girl, she studied piano for years, not to mention the clarinet, saxophone, and music theory. Over the years, Kristina had performed with a handful of select vocal ensembles, which toured eight countries and both coasts of the United States. In their travels, the groups took home prestigious awards such as First Prize in the Vienna Youth and Music Festival. Later, Kristina began to sing in a band which performed jazz and pop tunes in the greater Seattle area. Soon, Kristina began to write her own music and partnered with veteran composer/drummer Stephen Thomas Cavit and guitarist/composer Tom McGurk.
