Kathy Leonardo has been writing songs for over 10 years. It all started when directors of indie films started asking her to write music for specific projects. Kathy learned pretty quickly that she was good at this, writing a new tune in a couple of hours. She does most of her writing while she rollerblades. Yes, she is the 4?11? redheaded roller blader who you may have seen, singing her way through her workout everyday on that sandy bike path in Venice Beach.

Being a professional actress/singer and having worked on Broadway(see website), gives a vibrant slant to her live performances. Her background as a stand up comedienne shows a rare insight into the songwriter?s mind as she recounts her love life through misery and hilarity with each song that she?s written.
