Born and raised in Southern California, Karolyn Marie began writing when she was just nine years old and has since written more than 1000 songs. Aside from vocals, she plays piano, guitar, and ukulele. Her biggest influences include Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, and Joni Mitchell. Though she finds inspiration in all aspects of life, Marie credits raising her daughter as a single mom as a major inspiration for her work.
