Jo Pavletich Bio

Jo is a 40 year old kiwi songwriter/artist who resides in beautiful Beachlands,Auckland, New Zealand. She has produced two fundraising cd's to date, raising funds for The Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind and the South Auckland Health Foundation.The title track to her latest cd entitled Born To Be Loved features a verse written/spoken in Maori by Bernard Te Paa and also stars children from Papatoetoe Intermediate School Choral group who provide beautiful backing vocals.

Jo philanthropic projects come from her career as a fundraiser and her commitment to helping raise funds for worthy causes she feels an empathy for.

Currently Jo is working on two new songs, one (Man in the Moon) will be a dedication to her beloved late sister-in-law Ann Davidson who passed away due to a short but vallant fight with cancer. This song will no doubt also be a vehicle to help raise funds for the South Auckland Hospice who provided Ann's care in her final days.

Jo likes to say she "likes to put my money where my mouth is, literally!!"

Jo's musical influences are wide and varied, "I love all music, as long as it has a great beat and great lyrics, I'm interested! I particularly love modern country, 70's,80's music and even classical..in fact there are too many genres to mention!!
