The seventh son from a musical family of ten, Johnny Young has been composing and performing music since childhood. A vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, he has won both an Emmy Award and a BMI Award for composing on The Guiding Light, as well as three nominations for As The World Turns. He also wrote for Another World and The Geraldo Show. As a rock artist, he has toured the US, Canada, Europe, and Japan, and released three CDs, two of which charted on the US CMJ charts as well as having songs in popular TV shows and movies. In addition, he has written with and produced many acts signed to both major and independent labels.
