About Jan

Jan has been writing and working with producers in Nashville for several years. Her style varies from Adult Contemporary/Pop to inspirational to Country. She has been encouraged by publisher's open doors and honorable mentions for her songs.

Although she writes mostly Contemporary Christian music, she is open to writing and co- writing for and with artists and writers of different genres.

Jan considers it a great privilege to have had one of her songs used as a fund raiser with a national organization for the support of NYFD and their families, after 911.
More recently, after returning from her deployment with the Red Cross working in shelters with the evacuees of Katrina and Rita, her song, "No Place Like Home" poured out. This song is also available on her account.

She has recently begun dabbling in screenwriting, and songwriting for the screen.
