Indivo has a way of making something quite new sound familiar and comfortable to sink down into. Danceable, uplifting, sometimes moody, these songs each create a distinct feeling interwoven with rich vocals that dance across the melodies and weave a pattern that is distinctly their own.

Melinda Moore has been writing and playing guitar most of her life and began performing professionally at an early age. She comes from an eclectic musical background where she cut her musical teeth in the Southern California lounge circuit, toured Alaska for the USO in a disco band, moved on to form her own country band in Northern California, was a member of the popular western swing band Osage, and eventually joined up with Amarillo, the house band at the Saddlerack nightclub in San Jose, California. Amarillo won various awards and released an album featuring some of Melinda's original songs.

Melinda's writing style has been primarily folk/country. However, her recent collaboration with Nick Olivo has given her music a strong pop/rock flavor on their new release, Sea of Dreams. "Creating this album with Nick has been an amazing experience. He is a prolific songwriter, and writing and recording with him has me looking forward to our next project." These two musicians have pooled their talents and created their own unique sound.

Nick Olivo is a self-contained artist, who writes, records, engineers, mixes and produces his own material. Olivo credits his particular style to the pioneers of the rock community, influences ranging from John Lennon, the Beatles, Bob Dylan and Elvis.

Olivo is an innovative artist whose chameleon style reminds one of a character actor in a movie. With each song comes a new voice, a new role to be played. Olivo credits his songs texturing from his experiences in drama.

Olivo's sound is new, yet familiar to the ears. On his softer songs, listeners have said that the Olivo sound reminds them of John Lennon, Peter Gabriel or Tom Petty.

Olivo is part of Black House Productions with Rence Perez at the helm, which has produced tracks for artists such as Don Cisco featured on "Next Friday" soundtrack, Baby Bash on Universal Records, JayTee of N2DEEP, Mr. Kee, Connie of "Funky Little Beat"?, Yolanda, Angelina of Upstairs Records and other hip hop/dance artists.

Olivo believes music is a sacred art form which can transcend cultural differences and create a feeling that anything is possible. Music has the power to affect global awareness and unite people worldwide.
Olivo's goal is to bring some joy and happiness to the millions of ears around the world.
