San Francisco favorites Resin/Reverend Bad and the Politicians members DJ Swizzle and Andrew Schmidt recorded these sessions in their hometown of Madison, Wisconsin and dubbed the project ILL GIGANTE. DJ Swizzle programmed the drums based on tapes of live improv, then Schmidt played Fender P-Bass, electric and acoustic guitars, and live drums over the electronic beats. Swizzle added Fender Rhodes, Moog, Nord L2 and then cut it up like a Benihana chef on turntables and innerspace production.

The ILL GIGANTE songs were all recorded from the ground up; there are no samples.
