Formed in the 1990's. House of Ill Repute is a blend of Electronica, Industrial and Rock,which doesn't prevent them from doing Funk, Trip-Hop, etc. Courted by many major labels, the band decided in 1997 to form Hardkandy Records and never looked back. Their first release "Confessions of a Lover Gone Mad", an underground cult hit, has been a best seller at the label since the beginning. It continues to sell on Itunes Internationally, as well on all major download sites. Their follow up album of rarities, new material and previously unreleased material, is out now and is called "The Black House Sessions".This digital only album is available on all major download sites. Influenced By technology as much as music itself House Of ILL Repute is More Of a project in the art of music creation than a standard band. Musically influences range from early Techno, electronic infused music in general regardless of genre and music in general.
