On these rough, homemade demos of her own songs (all except "That's All"), Holly plays guitar, electric bass, and keys.
The jazz standard "That's All" features award-winning pianist Nick Rolfe and upright bassist Calvin Jones.

Holly McWhorter is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist living in New York City. Born into a musical family and a house full of jazz in Philadelphia, she began playing piano at age 4 and violin at age 8, and has been singing in different contexts since childhood.
She studied classical violin through college and now occasionally does live and session work as a violinist, but in 2003 began singing and writing songs of her own, and performing jazz standards as well--which is quickly becoming her primary focus.
Holly plays guitar, electric bass and keys on recordings of her original material herself. She recorded the jazz standards here with award-winning pianist Nick Rolfe and upright bassist Calvin Jones.
