After a successful debut record received airplay on more than 180 radio stations, Greg Summerlin’s second record is being readied for a June 14 release date. Working with three time Grammy winning engineer/producer Rob Burrell again, the new CD reveals a wide range of influences. In his previous life Greg was lead guitarist for local cult favorites The Quinsonics who played all over the South including SXSW-Austin, City Stages and 107X-Fest at Oak Mountain Amphitheatre in Birmingham and had major label interest before disbanding. Greg's debut CD charted for weeks at many college stations, and two singles received play on new music shows in areas such as Chicago, NYC and Denver and charted at several commercial stations including markets as large as Salt Lake City. All reviewers should understand that Greg has now started his own label, Superphonic Records, and has signed a national distribution deal with Redeye Distribution. Touring to begin this summer.
