An Electronic Music collaboration between Canadian, Matt Chisholm and South African, Eben Pretorius. Both are artists and seasoned DJs on the Taiwan, Canada and S.A circuits.

In 2009, with over 16 years combined DJ experience, the talented DJ duo decided to move onto their next big endeavor. Bringing their studio to the stage and performing as the live electronic group, Genetically Modified Beats, G.M.B for short. A few months after joining forces, they were voted #1 DJ act in Taiwan.

The past two years has also seen them cement their monthly event, A State Of Sound, as the most talked about and frequented event that showcases local artists in Taipei. They have been repeatedly celebrated in the press and on various online portals for their skillful use of Ableton Live, large selection of tracks, loops, samples and custom FX creating and modifying an ever-evolving Electronic Music Soundscape.
Not content with just their live performances. The talented duo can also be found hard at work in their Taiwan based studio. They are currently remixing local artists and putting the finishing touches on a handful of singles ready to drop in 2011. On top of that, their bootleg remixes, edits and mash-ups can always be found littered through their live sets and mix cds.
The buzz surrounding G.M.B has spread from Taiwan across Asia, to North America and Europe. With their first International E.P Release under the belt, management deals, sponsors and international tours being finalized, you better keep your ears peeled.

With the technical tools and the mental knowhow, they're taking Electronic Music to the next level.
