Gary Chin, bassist & TDH co-founder, was born in Boston, Massachusetts,and was raised in the greater Madison, WI area. During his early childhood, Gary developed an interest in music. At 16, he joined his first band playing bass and keyboards. Gary also began writing music drawing from many influences ranging from The Beatles to Led Zeppelin and Living Colour. As his musical interests grew so did the range of artists he drew his influences from. These influences would include artists such as, Massive Attack, Peter Gabriel, and Gilberto Gil. Gary has performed and/or recorded with Krash Holiday, One Day War, Atumn’s Dance, She Might Have a Gun, Nova Tribe, The Handphibians, Avenida Brasil, Kali Kalor, The Dorothy Heralds, Josh Harty, Lis Harvey, Amelia Royko, Hanah Jon Taylor, Tank, Trinity James, The Better Off Deads, Trio Eletriko, and DJ Anonymous.
