Songwriting is an opportunity to continuously expand my understanding of human nature; others as well as my own. Growing up in Roswell, GA, I remember waking to the sounds of Hank Sr. or Patsy Cline echoing through the house on Saturday mornings. I spent a lot of time running from the musical influences of my parents, only to find myself right back where I started.
I want to excite not imprison the imagination through haunting or evocative melodies & honest lyrics with a bit of tongue in cheek humor.
Though writing about specific experiences I try to create a "choose your own adventure' experience for the listener.

As a kid growing up in Roswell, GA, we awoke to the sounds of Hank Sr. or Patsy Cline echoing through the house on Saturday mornings. Like many young people, I spent a lot of time running from the musical influences of my parents, only to find myself right back where I started.
