Growing up with a strong bond from their early years of Jr. High, FiJ has grown by an ample degree, starting off as a cover band in drummer Ryan Koichopolos' basement, along with guitarist Bob Ogston. A few months into their project, word had gotten to the ears of bassist, Nick Hesson. The 3 boys already had a strong friendship of over 7 years, and the peices just seemed to fit just right. With an emmense love for music and friendship, FiJ created a a new stand in music, and the for others to share that stand.

Young and full of energy, FiJ started writing original music around 1999 in their senior year of Jr. High. And of course through everyones years of being a young gunner, the boys we're full of immature.. but yet funny attitudes. As the year progressed, FiJ got studio time for a day to do a demo. The boys spattered out a crappy little cd, but in the end it was only a starting point for what was to come over the years. As Nick, Bobby, and Ryan matured over the next year
