Composed, arranged, played, recorded, engineered, mixed, and produced by Dan Kirk, Epiphora is a one-man band with a host of guest musicians coming through the door. His first album, Get This, is all instrumental, and though it is generally mid to up-tempo and focused on rhythm, it is regarded by many as very relaxing.
Epiphora’s second offering, The Watery Eye, brings more depth of production as Dan has teamed up with his brother to open Bro2 Studios in Albany, Oregon. The recording is more professional, the writing has matured, and the production is more careful. In addition, vocals appear on a number of tunes. Where Get This helped ease your commute and soothe your road rage, The Watery Eye will tear your heart out with passionate stories told through both lyrics and instruments.
