Robert Alan Young

Born in Pennsylvania 1959 moved to Boston Ma. in 1980 to pursue a music career. Recorded with the band UZI on homestead records in 1985 and released the record "Sleep Asylum" which recieved rave reviews in New York times. Band split in 1986 Started a band called "A Scanner Darkly" and signed to Sub Rosa Records of Belgium. Left the band in 1987 and signed a two record solo deal with Sub Rosa called "Emerald Vein". After re-dedicating my life to Christ in 1986 I layed down the music and went to Victory bible training school for two years. In 1993 I moved to CA and continued writing music and began to lead worship at Living Word Fellowship church in Torrance CA. In 1996 I moved back to my home town in PA and married my high school sweetheart. Since then my wife and I and our 5 chiklren reside in Stroudsburg Pa where i am full time minister and worship leader at Labor of Love USA ministry. Since then i've recorded 3 CD's "The Lamb" "Children Only Believe" and a worship CD "Labor of Love USA Compilation 1" Today i primarily write worship music and use my time to help and develop others in their gift.
