dAvid rAy has played almost every style of music (country, rock, jazz, alternative rock) as the leader/lead vocalist/lead guitarist of several different bands, including solo and duet acts. He has been writing and recording songs over 30 years in the country, rock and jazz genres. He has also been producing jingles for TV and radio locally.
dAvid rAy would rather create and produce music than anything else he has made a living from, which include: graphics & logo design, cartoons to newpapers/magazines, web design, sign painting & murals, fine arts, local and L.A. area gigs, TV and radio jingles, etc.

"dAvid rAy" (born David R. Howell in Santa Cruz, California) is a 52-year old multi-talented musician/artist with skills as a songwriter, music producer, lead guitarist, lead and background vocalist, etc.... He's been entertaining live audiences for many years locally in his own bands (in Tulare, Kern and Fresno Counties) and in the Los Angeles area with a well-known band that had its roots with Walt Disney Studios in the early 50's: George Probert's Monrovia Old Style Jazz Band, along with Wayne Allwine and Russi Taylor (the voices of Mickey and Minnie Mouse for the past 10 or more years). Deceased members of this band include Frank Thomas, one of the most famous animators of all time (Walt Disney's right-hand man who played piano very adeptly)...
