Darren Holden is a versatile performer with an exceptional vocal range, as well as an accomplished musician and prolific songwriter. In his early career, he performed across Europe winning several composing awards in various competitions. He has worked with country music legend Rodney Crowell on a song for the Celtic Harmony Festival and collaborated with R'n'B artist Montell Jordan, and Lindy Robbins.

Darren's second album Live & Learn saw him get industry recognition when he was nominated for 'Best Country Male Artist' in the 2004 New Music Weekly Awards in LA.

In 2005 Darren wrote Through Hell and High Water in dedication to the victims of Hurricane Katrina. As one of the most downloaded songs of the year in the US, he was praised for the touching lyrics, and heartfelt message. The song is on his 2006 Roadworks album. All original material, the album is a fine blend of ballads and rock songs resulting from two years of writing and recording on the road touring with Movin' Out.
