Jeff first picked up the guitar as a child in elementary school, learning folk songs from a guitar book and wrote his first song while in Jr. HS. Then, as he entered HS and discovered The Beatles, Neil Young, King Crimson, Yes, ELP, Jethro Tull, Genisis, Cream, Jim Hendrix, Led Zepplin and a whole slew of other artists, he switched to the drums and drumset, as his main instrument, but continued to write songs on the guitar. He was soon on his way to a music degree, but after 3 years of college, regular life kicked in and he became a carpenter to try to support his growing family. He has continued to play the drums over the years, but recently picked up the guitar and is now beginning to record some of the songs he has written over the years, starting with the best songs from his early days. These recordings are just guitar and vocals. He knows he is not talented enough on the guitar or vocals for the main stage, but his songs are well written, heart reachers.
