Cowardice is a solo project created by Phil Stiles. Playing music covering a range of genres from acoustic folk to the bleak outpourings of early cure, the music ebbs and flows occasionally exploding into piles of layered guitar and howls of feedback. The music, while bleak, maintains a melodic edge reminiscent of the Levellers or Sonic Youth while remaining unique. Recorded exclusively at home, Phil aims to take his project on to a studio soon.
