Cornfield, was born October 3rd 1978 in Omaha Nebraska. He is the son of two musicians, and at an early age knew music was his calling. At 5 began to play the Drums, at 12 the Guitar and the Bass. He began shaping his unique blend of Slap Bass, Hip Hop, Groove and raw Blues guitar.
In LA he Became an active member in many bands: Playing (bass), (guitar), (turntables) and (Vocals). With a wide range of music talent and personalities featuring Rock, Jazz, Blues and Hip Hop, he has all types of music elements covered. Whether you like to sit back and relax to your music or put it in your car stereo and BUMP, Cornfield does it. With the times and technology changing so fast, he decides to do things the old school style way. All songs are written, recorded, and produced by him. And if that doesn’t turn your head, all studio instruments are also played by him as well.

It is no doubt that everything Cornfield writes is original and fresh. Between bassments in Nebraska to farms in California. Cornfield has managed to take over his environment. Becoming a "Big Fish" once again. These days in Palmdale Cali, Ben is working harder with his band Disappearance. This is a Rap / Rock band fronted by him. He takes his daily life and Job and puts them into his live shows. Working as a wedding DJ/MC, Ben Thomas knows how to please a crowd, whether its teaching the Chicken dance to rockin a room full of young angst teenagers. Its not just his unique voice and look that keeps his shows packed, but the way he talks to a crowd, you cant resist jumping when he does or clapping, or even getting down in crouch position on the ground to be ready for the explosive chorus. Back in the studio again, Disappearance is already pre-sold out of their new album.
