i sent no emails thru this site to Lori or Steve all the words have been publicly viewable a handler is smeone who jumps in when they want to protect the best interests of an artist who they feel might be in over their heads a handler doesnt require any formal agreement, in writing so, Lori, its pretty obvious that to try and getyou some music tracks, sharpen up any vocal tracks of yours, or supply any mix pre and post production, would be completely impossible here i have much better things to do than get into a pissing contest with someone who would stoop so low as to hack an email atist account and send vicious barbs this Todd fellow seems well-connected and knows many names he also seems to be in studios quite frequently in various parts of the US in other words, Todd is your guy im closing this account, but not because Todd seems to want the members here to believe i am "after" you. The man is clearly a baiter, and one who likes to gather info. so, im sure tht between steves production skills, and todds protective dome approach, you'll be just fine i hope that you continue to enjoy being in the artistic community

Tirsla:) If you mean did I record my vocal without music in the back ground then yes? If I recorded the separate when stacking my music...and put them in the song...no I sang them with the song in my ear and I sang solo while recording with my mix? I can separate my vocals? so yes??? I can re-sing sections cut insert and upgrade...yes!!! I'm not sure what more I can do with the audio mix...I am not a master mixer either. I am hear to learn and get heard...and hopefully get an opportunity definately to make professional contacts and meet wonderful people! Sorry for all the BS??? :)

Thank you Steve I to replied to her and hope she understands we mean no harm! :) I really feel that words get confused when in black and white because we can not see or feel the emotions that come with them! I am a body language reader and also have learned to read deeper into words by communicating more freely with my way! I am a very honest person and I do know that that gets taken advantage of in my life. I still feel that when someone does take advantage of it that it is the few that need the advantage from people like me whom go the extra mile to show and prove that it is ok as long as it is needed. There is a difference! 9 out of 10 hearts can be opened to there way and changed to be recognized for better. I do give a lot and never ask for anything back...until "raped" where drained and can't teach someone whom don't want to see good and change! I find life a challenge when presented with many lost soles whom I help find a better way, yet some beg for it and never find it even if it is presented??? Not sure if I am making sense? but again I am just hoping all understand that we are all good and it is a good mind that don't mind a bad thought as long as we can clarify the true!!! I have to spell out everything in my life...I have raised 4 children and there friends and 2 are wonderful adults now living a great life thanks to good guidance! My other 2 will also be wonderful people like me because I know who I am and need not explain to me...just to others? I never remind myself nor others because they see! It is unnecessary to have to...when a true person is real!!! Everyone in my contacts are real I have learned much about all...we only asked for Real? It is all good know matter what? thanks steve, it was alot of words to make some simple points. i could have used the biz- short-speak stuff, but Lori wouldn't have got the message with those 27 ding-words. Lori is a total amateur, and doesn't feel she needs to pretend she's runged a few more thn she has. Lori needed the long way home. The short cut, no way. The inside jokes, dings, comparisons, short-forms that save hours between true pros, no way. Like a business lunch to explain logistics of the a pro next tour... an example... i say "SD, we booked the Del" guys says "cool, my fav" i dont reply, cuz i dont need to, cuz i knew that was his fav, ok? i move on to the next point, so it can ll be on the table in an hour, not in three weeks, cuz we both busy people. with Lori, those 4 little words would need all these... "when you play the nights engagement in San Diego, we have booked the room at the Del Coronado, and the transportation will be with Carl there, like always..." so, 4 words to a pro, or 29 words to an first-timer same info given, so imagine an issue that takes 200 words between a pro and a pro handler. Do the math Time management, as you well know, Steve And how do i know this about you? Well, your post was only 10 words, right? see, im doin it again... Hey Tirsla Please don't get up set, I ment no harm ever. When I first got on this site, I delt with VeraForm then UnrealPeople and they both were scammers? So these guys (BJ Family) just watch out for me? I really like what you said and was happy Steve backed it up! Please 2 understand that we have and had no info. on you to help us feel comfortable that your words come with sincere? I appreciate everything and please don't get upset cuz they protect me. I like all! (My heart can tell that you mean well) I TRULY appreciate you spelling everything out to me! You are right I don't understand PRO Talk and probable will not experience even half of what most do in the music world. Well said Lori but unnecessary. Yes, we are ok here...I just felt that whomever she is and the way she 'dispensed' advice, that I wanted to tell her we all have lives. And issues. Hopefully, Todd doesn't see any of these posts. Anyway, this person brought a couple of valid points (threads) so that's how i got involved but I think i'll back out this post now.

Cup Of Tease i just gave a fast full listen love the concept, love the dance groove approach vocal sort of reminds me of a cross between Bonnie Raitt and Melissa Etheridge i dunno why, but i get the idea that if some weird producer got one of those fems to attempt a new dance groove style, this might be what they would go for, this sound i suggest in any final mix you keep the basic rhodes groove happening also, keep the bare-bones approach (stay away from horns, think 4 piece, add bass, funky guitar riffs jumping in, maybe mangled a bit) title? like i said, love the concept here, title is an eye catcher, as-is but i'd change it slightly to hip it up a bit, get the crowds eyes, demographic you want here maybe Cuppa Tease? maybe even Teeze? i dunno, but the title needs that type of uniqueness, to fast-grab the eye of pubs is this vocal fully separated. this original vocal track? vocal starts weak in pitch, as most amateur singers tend to need about 20 seconds to get into a session but, after the 20 second mark, this vocal is world class, seriously Lori natural grit, great natural pitch flow dont ever let someone totally pitch-repair this voice you have a pretend producer would do that, cuz they have no sense of the impact that reality has in song tracks, even in todays perfect world i'd like to hear if the S in Tease, the zzz sound, is clearer in the vocal track solo'd sometimes, it sort of sounds like a cup-of-tea (the zzz 0f tease doesn't cut thru) and cup-of-tea would definitely not be what we want the listener to hear that zzzz sibilence has to cut every time, it's the whole focus of the concept im gonna tell u sumthin Lori i been watchin you for a very long time here ive seen how you've tried to develope, both musically and network-wise but, as in all things music-biz... a lurking presence isn't going to help you, or any artist in the digital domain in the old days, we walked into clubs, sat at the back, and listened we also watched the crowds reactions to the material we were hearing then, we would watch the artist for 3 minutes off the stage, wandering in the fan base, among the crowd then, we'd do one of two things introduce ourselves, chat a bit, maybe offer a demo session or, we'd just walk out, and chat amongst ourselves later sometmes that would lead to another club visit, sometimes not 2nd visit would depend on who else was playing in that area, how many check outs today, its the internet but its exactly the same thing, i promise you that. some of the best acts were found in the smallest, most out-of-the-way places little clubs, even 50-seaters you are unique your sort of ditzy, ok? but you're one fun-time chick with a great, natural, and very raw, vocal sound.

I do agree with all of this and when I started this I had "CupATease" for my title...but as it developed "Riddle Me" as in the game..."I Spy" now a days...was then Riddaly Riddaly I double D I see something that you don''t see and the color is??? and we would guess around a room when have to sit and be good children...lol Imagine that???? LOL Anyways, I then started working on lyric's that will tease like a game? For many people in world play many games? Good and Bad...which leads me to the next consept of hot and cold...again in the teasing world that brings the mind....therefore this song has soooo much potential that I needed to get it started to start feeling my groove. I seriously am not looking to be a "Pop" Star! but hey...would never pass it up either...like you said...amiture and with all in mind...it's all good! I have so much writings that after so long a writer "like me" has to start some where? As I progressed in my writings I seem to hear the tune...I can sing almost everything I write...but don't play an instrument and that makes it vary hard to put music to lyrics! On that note...I proceeded to make a minor investment on something that would give me beats, instruments, etc...Magix Music Maker 15. I didn't know a damn thing about audio, mixing, or that program when I bought it...wow I am still learning about it. There is so much to all this that it truly en-gulps me, because as I search for beats (which this has no country template to work with anyways and that sucks) I end up making new lyrics to the Rock / pop/ techno stuff? I sing many of my stuff different than I have produced it. Ditzy or Creative ??? Because I don't mind. Being blonde projects much and honestly allows me to use it when I do have my Ditzy moments. Seems out of these crazy times of my life Its those moments that creates my wild though into music to create the mind listening to be creative as well??? :) I like what you have to say! :) I take all with a CupATease and with your in site sure to please. My unorthodox style is what seems to get my attention...besides the "BLONDE HAIR" LOL So All In All....I will keep working on it...I really am not done with this song...I see so much more to it...I have sang it even better when really grooving :) There are days that my voice will really shine...then allergies or strain...etc take it away. I truly don't know how someone can sing everyday...but know that I have never even been practiced or take vocal lessons and I am sure would develope the voice to handle such stress? It is nice to hear all this. It is the few that do see what I am bringing to get new lyrics out there for our radio's? I would love a young pop star to sing my song...:) Thats my attack in all this. It really doesn't matter how they sing it...they would have to make it there grove and there song. Any I know that what I write is of quality to work with. This is why I do what I do! Trust me...I have a lot of negative in my life about my dreams...but as they watch me keep reaching them...it will help them to believe in themselves too! :) Thank you sooo much for your time and thoughts on this...after this crazy weekend I will be recovering my voice from yelling at "Saving Able" In Concert and a Hot Crazy Fun Bike Ride! Hey Todd & Lori I don't agree with everything, but there are 'threads' of good information there. I was being supportive of another person's attempt to state something but then also justify their thinking. Too often on this site people will be critical without constructive justification.
You know guys...I agree with all! Again! I do realize the main point is I do have the attention ... my raw since of humor/twisted view...seems to grab different minds? I have always known I am different! I thank God for allowing me to express myself through music anyway I can? gawd I hate these endless thread things digital version of ---insert peronal listen filter here--- i dunno why, but ill reply to some points made above vocal issues, and why some people can sing alot and not trash their v-chords v-chords are muscles, and great singers, espexially the rock singers, who can sing alot and not suffer too much, tend to have been screaming into cheap mics for years at rehearsals, and they have strong throats. Stevie nicks was a good example of a pro who suffered, yes, even a woman who had reached the top, the very top. And Stevie worked her muscles alot, but, even so... the very best example of total throat burn-out from lack of pro developement, was Paul "Everytime You Go Away" Young good lookin guy, great voice, bad handling Paul Young had never had to work his natural voice, then he was forced, because of overnight success, to start performing at a very high pro level, which meant not only performances at night, but radio and tv every day, soundchecks and rehearsals, demoing for the next album, and the the every-day talking that we all do. Paul Youngs throat was amateur, even though the world heard a great, strong, gritty, voice. Paul Young totally blew out So, if anyone wonders why Paul Young, who had so much going for him, stalled... and crashed... about fifty seaters (and i said EVEN fifty seaters, not ALL) this is for your ever-present, current handler, Lori. The young man who enjoys joinng threads. an example (by he way, Young never sang anywhere bigger than a private party before he was taken into the studio) Grand Funk Railroad Mark Farner, Flint Michegan yes, they played lage clubs in Michegan, Detroit, etc but they were found long before that. After farner had the cash, he made a call to a housekeeper at a little highway motel outside of Flint. The womans son had gone to high school with the guys. he played piano a bit. Grand Funk then became a 4-piece now, understand something here... the keyboard players first gig was in front of 70,000 people. kd lang was already being handled when she played her first club which sat over 50 kd was found privately, singing in a very small diner and i wont even get into the stars of the current crop, many of whom were street performers. performers have been found busking in subway stations. So, its not about where a performer is found, or how many are in the audience. its about what someone sees as a possibility in the performer, and a demo session determines the rest, usually. i didnt work with Paul Young or Stevie Nicks i also dont feel any great need to pull out my credentials to satisfy the digital masses i feel like im swimming thru a pond full of seaweed sometimes. So, its all a matter of timing, same as always. anyway, ive wasted alot of words to reply to things you didnt even bring up, Lori, so ere's a point just for you, ditzy... the crux of my initial post can be boiled down to a few words, and they are the ones which seem to have gne un-noticed (and this is what i deal with all the time, this concept of a person reading, or hearing, what they want to read, or her, or see, as opposed to what the other person is asking) i asked one question ONLY in that initial post so, because im such a nice person, ill save you the time of re-reading your glowing review to find it, ok? i asked "is the vocal fully separated?" notice that line has a question mark? i'll be back in a week or so
