You're so very kind and I appreciate you liking my composition. The singer is off of a VST sample disk and yes that's me on the piano. I'll have to listen to your Waiting bu the Sea again because, honestly I don't remember it. I'm sure that if it is like your other compositions it's very well conceived, executed and fun. I'll get back to you after awhile. I"m dealing with a law suit I started and it is taking up most of my time. Best, Steve

Well, I'll be....looky here....Uncle Steven is in the house....Welcome.....!
Hey Chet, I'm so sorry for being a shit in getting back to you. I'm extremely busy with a law suit that I started and it is taking up most of my days. How are you whatcha doing? Tell me, tell me.
Hi Steven, Actually, "shit" is a process and not a "thang". Turd would be a better term, no? Ha ha ha, just kidding. You do remember my wit and sarcasm, right? Anyway, nice to get a reply. Not to worry, I understand. Everyone is either ACTUALLY too busy, or are acting like they are or want to be busy and the majority are "Walking In Circles". Check this song out, you will like it...kind of a Stephen Stills number: https://chetnichols.net/track/15052 10/walking-in-circles DO check out the lyrics. It won an American Songwriter lyric contest. Go figure. Anyway, lot of water over the bridge, so much so that the bridge has broken on occasion. Nancy and I have been married now for 42 years. We have two sons and 5 grandchildren. Busy boys. I think probably when I saw you last, I was transitioning into producing films and commercials. I started many different film companies all over the world, but most LA. Then, I got the bug to back to writing songs and after a chance meeting at a house party at Michael Masser's house in LA, He and Diane Warren convinced me to do so. So, I went back to composing, but still produced films and worked in various new film media companies. In the meantime, I started doing more VO work on the side and also did a for amount on camera acting in films, TV and commercials in LA, Vancover, Nude York and Shit-cago. Then after Obama came in and wrecked the economy and we had to close two new production companies, I took a break and wrote two novels, wrote more music and had a script deal with an LA company. So, I went in and worked in various industries as a fly-on-the wall so I could use them for backdrops for script ideas. In the meantime, I did some advertising consulting for mainly automotive companies, but I had to stop (well, let's say "slow down") because I had a heart attack and my knees were shot from all the athletics I did as a kid, in college and as an adult...so, I had them replaced. Then, the Covid scam hit and the economy went "poof".... so I went back to writing songs and worked to develop a client base of people needing music for TV and film and games....blah, blah, blah. Anyway, that is what I am doing full-time these days. Also, have two new books I am about done with... So, there are the Cliff-Notes of my past...a....a....almost 50 years. These days, we live quietly up on the Wisconsin border, but will sell in the Spring and get out of Illinois... it is beautiful up here, but the state and Shit-cago (a hour-process in action) are F.U.C.K.E.D (Fornication Under consent Of The King-ed) up. More later, LA just sent me a job.... Stay in touch and fill me in on you..... o-tay? Best, ChestHair
Hey Steven...nice to see you here. I remember you from the heady jingle days in Chicago. I'm still available for vocal work. Lots of file sharing sessions these days. Check out some of my stuff here on Broadjam!
Hey, let's keep in touch!
