I posted this on my facebook page, but not here. Last month I submitted Country Alright to a publisher's dropbox on another site for Tim McGraw. The A & R publisher reps forwarded it on for further consideration and it went all the way to a final decision board. They didn't take it, but they sent me the nicest note full of compliments. It was the nicest rejection I ever got. As a Christmas gift to all my friends here on broadjam, I have just made it available for free download. Wishing you and yours a wonderful holiday season and hoping that the new year brings you all good things.
Brian, first off, congrats on making it that far! Secondly, thanks for sharing and lifting our spirits. I want so badly to see a B-jammer get an actual cut. Fingers crossed for you and all my fellow B-jammers.

yes--those nice rejections are better than zero answers--I got one-one time on my song--I WANT YOUR LOVIN TONIGHT--the reviewer for the A&R company said!--I really like this song a lot--it is the kind of song that would melt the ice off of your windshield on a cold winters day--but the artist wasn't quite interested!--see ya--nj.
Sorry Stephanie. I was hoping for you. Better luck next time. Same thing happened to me this week on one of my instrumentals. We just have to hang in there.
