Released 9/2008 Revo Williams is DIY, Experimental, Electronica composed entirely on creative whim with an iMac and a cheap turntable in his studio/apartment in West Hollywood, California. Creatively enabled solely by GarageBand, Revo Williams was officially launched in 2008 exclusively on lastfm.com. DIY in all aspects of production, William Hall a.k.a. Revo Williams, combines an endless variety of edited sound loops from GarageBand, and sampling from a lifetime collection of vinyl, to create a percussive, throbbing electronic sound with fragmentary vocals, punk-derived riffs and tribal-like beats, such that the listener is enveloped in a challenging, sublimating wall of amorphous, cacophonous sound that you can move to.
