the little voice in the background could use work (it shouldn't be a repetition of what is said but more than anything it should be a small voice which says (ah, ah, ah,) the vocal recording needs to be separated, the ad-libs and backup vocals are fighting with the mains, as such they need to be reconsidered because they make the main vocals hard to hear. it also depends what the purpose of this track is? commercial or underground, if its underground then the track is ok, but for commercial the main vocals need less gain and the track needs a professional mix with mastering. there needs to be a repeatable hook, as such always consider who your target market is and tailor the hook towards them. a simple 4 bar/8 bar hook will do. as for punch lines, think of them like your best comedian, you have to set them up for the 1st 3 lines in the bar and kill it with the last bar, it doesn't help if you're throwing punchline after punchline because you dont leave space and time for your audience to digest your lyrics, the illest rappers are those who allow plenty of time and wordplay for the audience to laugh at how funny the punchline is, then pause, then jump right back into the setup again

But I realize how much progress I have made really taking the time to believe in me...and thats all I need to succeed! Then the more I am around, being who I am...the more they will realize that I am Someone Special. That becomes rewarding when they realize my good...and tell me!
