Congrats on being selected for the Keith Urban opportunity. I really like Sha La La, it's got a really cool laid back feel. It be great for Keith Urban.
Hey john - listened to All night long - great song, the melody is great!
How do we find out who the artist is singing these wonderful songs?
Hey Jon, just writing to say I really like your songs, particularly "Little Things" and "I Try to Let Go". Strong and catchy stuff! Well done mate!
Hi Jon, I loved your song "A Christmas kiss"! I think something great will happen with that one! Nice work!
Hey Jon..Just listened to Little Things..really well done.. Is that you on the vocal? Congrats on your sucess!
hey jon long time no talk. i wanted to say im sorry for not getting back to you on "with you", and wanted to see if it was still ok if i used it for my wedding video?
Jon, I took a listen to your tune, I Wasn't There (Even When I Was). Great tune! Have you considered pitching this one to Ronnie Dunn. It sounds like it would fit him very well and I see Broadjam currently has a listing for him. Best of luck, Buc
yes----ronnie dunn---he was here about 2 miles from my house 3 weeks ago, doing a private radio station party for kix country--the dj that was in charge was cece brooks---imagine that--he has a huge following--just a great guy--cheers--joe.
Listen to Jon's tune and see if it doesn't sound like something Ronnie could nail.
i would submit this song to ronnie dunn in a heartbeat or new york second---this is really a great tune--all the way around---heck--tim magraw or a lot of the other country stars could do this one too--thanxs--joe.
oh--i gave it 5 stars on the review score too-nj.
Thanks for the thoughtful feedback buddy.
Thanks so much for reviewing my songs and the great feedback. Really appreciate it. :)
I loved your songs that were accepted for submissions. Who sings your songs if you're not a performing artist? Very talented.
Suddenly Gone. I like that one! Nice job.
Hey friend! Thanks for the incredible review of my song. I'm humbled that you want to use it as your wedding montage song!! You are the second person to make that request. Go for it & congrats! -- Jon D'Agostino (PS -- I wrote it for my wife. We've been together 24 years and high school sweethearts. It comes from a VERY REAL place)
Sir we greatly appreciate you giving us the permission to use your music :D Congratulations of being married for 24 years! That is amazing, and I pray that it is only a stepping stone for you and your wife on the path to forever. I will be sure to give you credit for the song on our wedding day :) I look forward to hearing more of your music, as it is truly inspirational.
Hey Neo, I truly appreciate that. When is your wedding??
Hello Jon, I usually don't click on the featured artists, but I clicked on you because of your last name. My mom's maiden name was D'Agostino, so who knows, we might be related, ha ha. My maiden name was Polito. Anyway, Just listened to between Sundays and loved it. Hope I will get to review your music down the pike. Singin' and smilin', "Mrs. Kate" Carpenter, folksinger, songwriter & storyteller from Callahan, FL
Thank cousin! lol I'll check out your songs. Love folksongs & storytelling in songs. :)
Hi Jon... just listened to some of your songs and was very impressed...good stuff! I've currently got the number 1 song in the Blues category here and recently signed a publishing deal through Broadjam for the same song. If you're up to trying a co-write sometime I'm interested. I've already connected with one other writer through Broadjam and written a very cool "Adelle" like soul song. Take care and maybe we'll hook up sometime.
All the best - Al Hovden
You definitley have a nack for writing. I notice that you mention that you love co-writing. I was wondering if you might consider co-writing a song that I attempted myself a couple of years ago. It's called Daddy's Gotta Go". I basically wrote myself into a corner because the song is too long. I've had a hard time trying to say the same story in a shorter version. I'd be honored if you would consider this. If not--no hard feelings. It never hurts to ask--right? Take care and I hope you're enjoying the holiday weekend,
Glad you asked and would love to try to write together. Can you e-mail the lyric, melody, etc to me at email@example.com?? Give me a few days to digest it & I'll definitely get back to you with my thoughts. Have a great weekend. -- Jon
Just so you know my email address is Airchair94@aol.com--thought I'd tell you ahead of time so you don't think it's spam. LOL. I'll send it out shortly. Thanks, this should be fun. Take care,
Hi Roger. Thanks for the great comments on my song "Where Did That Baby Go." I'm glad it home for you too. I wrote another that is on my site called "She Was always That Beautiful" which you may like since it's about marrying your daughter of. Thanks again. -- Jon D'Agostino
Mary Lou, I think you missed the mark with your crit of my song. You thought the title was "The phone call?" The hook he keeps repeating is "I wasn't there (even when I was.)" Also, you gave the vocal a 3? That singer is a pro who is about to get a recording contract in Nashville. I appreciate the feedback but I'm not sure you really listened to this one. It already has the interest of several publishers. Good luck with your music.
I understand your response. Remember we listen to
these cold. I hope to hear more of your songs! Best, Mary Lou
Thanks Mary Lou. I appreciate your comments. Best of luck. --Jon
hey jon--backwoods saturday night--great song--joe.
Thanks for the review of my song "follow me"! I will check out your music when I get back on my computer at home.
I Got to Lose is a cool tune. Good luck.
Thanks, that track features Bill Turner the guitarist from Bill Haley and The Comets on Fiddle, Dobro, slide guitar, banjo, and harmonica. It was in consideration for a Grammy in 2009
Listened to some of your songs. Good stuff. Good luck with your writing & singing.
Thanks Jon. I'm working hard at it every day. Good luck with your work as well. Thanks again for the listen and may God bless you as he has me.
Tweaking & tightening new songs I'll be doing demos on in Nashville next week!!
Ha ha :)
congrats on the artist spotlight....really nicely crafted tunes, very well sung with clean , on target production.....you should do very well in the licensing game....best of luck to ya
Thanks so much - and let's hope so :)
Nice Artist Spotlight!! I guess greasing a few palms does work huh? Of course, I'm kidding. It's all well deserved. :)
