I just listened to "Unspoken," almost by accident. Very nicely produced! The accordion pad works well, everything appears at the right moment, emotionally, and the mix is clear and light. May all your projects come out as well as this one.

David, Love your dreamy and somewhat tearful little love song. It sings to me. - Nick

Thanks for your painstaking and genuinely helpful review of "A Mist Over Paris." I agree that the harpsichord is hot, and one of these days I'll hop back into ProTools to balance the mix. When I wrote the thing, I wanted to achieve the effect of emerging from an indeterminate fog into a night cityscape. This is incidental music for Cyrano de Bergarac -- specifically, the transition from the opening scene at the theater to the fight with a hundred swordsmen. All this by way of showing my thought process in those opening bars. I don't know if it worked or not. As in poker, the emphasis here is on the next deal.

Thanks again for your time and clear effort.

Thank you for your review of "Victory in September"...that track has had a very good run on the top ten in classical here. It hit #1 and stayed for about 3 days! haha. Much appreciated for taking your time out for the review.
Best

Mr. Calligan,

Thanks for your review of my little waltz. Feedback is really useful -- as anyone who has ever tried to walk will attest. I also think just knowing that things are in circulation is good. I appreciate your encouragement.

Mr. King,

Thanks for your thorough and intelligent review. I agree with you about the instrumentation. MIDI generally gives the general idea of a thing, but it has neither conviction nor heart -- and sometimes it sounds downright weird. In this case the mystery instrument was a "banjo". Anyway, I appreciate your peering past the sound to comment on form and structure.
