Hey I'm old and out of touch but have you ever listened to Pharcyde? It's old school 90's rap but it's so clever, funny, and grooves so hard. It's not like I don't use plenty of profanity in my daily life but I think powerful rap is more powerful *without* a lot of it--kinda like fries without too much ketchup. Would you point me to an artist/tune that represents what you're trying to do?

I like your sounds like..none I'm a new breed, and indeed you are. I like botha these songs, just wish the lyric was posted so we could read it as the song plays. This, a lyric sheet, is one of the top most useful aids songwriters have and many producers will not even listen without one. Good work any ways here.
