Thanks for the more than generous review of "Semi-Sweet". It's one of maybe two or three country tunes I've written.....I'm a jazz guy, mostly. Had it reviewed by some folks in Nashville who really liked it, but truck songs weren't "In" at the time. I'll check out some of your stuff soon, and welcome to Bjam.

Hey Guys!

Thanks so much for the great review of my song, "You Made Me Cry"....! It comes from one of my newest albums, "Band In The Basement".

I wrote this song back in 1964 and it was one of our big hits back then. Our band was called, "The Chosen Few" and we were out of Chicago. We made three tapes and the only one that survived over the years was rediscovered a couple years ago and I sent it out to my producer, Stephen Barncard, in San Francisco to digitize. But, still there were problems with the tape, so, to honor my band mates who have all since passed on, I decided a couple years to re-record some of my old originals that made the band famous back then.... I played all the instruments, sang all the vocals, produced and engineered the whole album.

I think you gents will get a real kick out of it.....check it out at my Broadjam site, Chet Nichols - "Band In The Basement". It is album #21 for me. Oddly enough, I sent it over to England about 6 weeks ago to some of my old rock buddies from the 60's and 70's and the album is catching on..... 40 years later! What the.....? Crazy stuff.....

Anyway, thanks again....and keep on strumming, after all, what ELSE are you gonna do!?

Best,

Chet Nichols
