Chris Bailey has been writing and recording music for over 15 years. As a founding member of the band Beats the Hell out of Me, he found his unique guitar sound: Feedback, e-bow, slide, and effects all floating above a heavy groove. TripNet is his instrumental project that takes the listener on a musical journey through World, Ambient, and Electronic styles while still keeping them grounded in acoustic and electric guitar tones. Chris’ recent work includes music for video and multimedia projects for the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, and Sundt Corporation. As a recording engineer he received a Platinum Record for Tyrese’s first album “Tyrese”, having recorded the song “Lately” which features several of Chris’ instruments and sounds. Chris is currently an instructor at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences (CRAS) in Tempe, Arizona. He is a member of their Digital Recording department, where he instructs students on Digital Audio, Midi, Synchronization, and Logic Audio.
