After leaving school at 16, I was trained in music at The Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, Surrey.
Since qualifying there in contemporary music performance, I've undertaken various jobs to
fund my travels overseas. Originally from Wales, I am currenly working in Amsterdam.
My music, like my art, takes its influence from across the world's cultures. Most particularly it is influenced by ska and reggae, but with a Celtic twist.
Besides spending my time composing, performing and recording music I am also a self-taught artist and like to paint in various styles. I have a great admiration for anonymous art, folk and 'tribal' art. I also admire much religious art, and [of course] the Book of Kells has influenced not only my style but my way of thinking as well.
